Luxurious comfort right next to the sea
The house is truly lovely and has everything a guest could possibly need. The position is wonderful and we long to return to enjoy the pool and garden right by the sea in better weather.
Perhaps some of the beds were a little too small; we do tend to need our beds to be 190cm wide. However, the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the many bathrooms and toilets was marvelous.
I would love to bring my grandchildren to stay here with the huge number of toys and the table tennis is a joy.
Madame you have thought of just about everything. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and we loved the new restaurant you recommended . The weather was obviously unfortunate but it has not stopped us wanting to return

A beautiful villa that lived up to expectations
We were a group of 4 couples in our 60's and 70's, so a mature group! The villa was a perfect base from which to explore the island. We took our own bicycles although we could have used those provided. The accommodation is of a very high standard, and well equipped, probably the best we have ever had. The garden and pool are a delight. We all wish to return again.

A Quiet Paradise
Our family stayed at the villa in July 2016 and found the house, the facilities and location to be perfect. The villa is perfectly positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac a short cycle to the village square (La Noue), and about 30 gentle pedaling minutes to St. Martin. Regarding the 'business' side of our stay the owner and her agent were very easy and friendly to deal with, and everything that was promised was delivered with a smile. I couldn't recommend the villa enough for a visit to this paradise island.

Perfect
We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday in the villa. It is absolutely outstanding. From the moment you walk in and gasp at the view to the moment you set off off, the villa is outstanding.
Morning cycles to the beautiful village square for breakfast, crabbing on the rocks, building sandcastles on the deserted beach, swimming in the glorious pool, sundowners at the end of the garden, cycle trips to the beautiful ports for superb meals. What more could you ask for?
We stayed with 3 families and easily has enough room.
Lastly, as with previous reviews, we found all of our dealings with Catherine and Romain the agent to be a pleasure. Everything done as promised with a smile.

Prachtige villa met zicht op zee
Samen met de familie (11 personen) hebben we ten volle genoten van een schitterende vakantie op Ile de Ré. Een heel gezellig en leuk eiland maar vooral de woning was ronduit schitterend. Een adembenemend zicht op zee vanuit de living tuin en terras, een prachtige grote tuin die uitgeeft op het strand. We hadden 6 mooie kamers en 4 badkamers zodat de drie gezinnen voldoende privacy hadden. Voor de kinderen een paradijs waarin ze naar hartelust konden spelen en gebruik maken van boeken, speelgoed ter plaatse. Alles stijlvol ingericht en bovenop nog een groot zwembad die 2X per week wordt nagezien. Bij onze aankomst was de woning heel netjes en we werden verwelkomt met een leuke attentie. Een heel fijne vakantie voor iedereen zodat we met spijt huiswaarts terug keerden. We denken echt nog terug te gaan.

Superb accommodation in fairy-tale surroundings

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous villa. There were three distinct groups of us and absolutely loads of room for the children to play both inside and out. The weather was reasonably kind in the first week with the pool being used each day. It was cooler in the second week but almost always bright and sunny. You generously provided lots of indoor activities for both children and adults, which came into their own at some point during the holiday.
We were also able to enjoy the activities of the wind surfers and kite skiers in the evenings with a superb view of the ocean over the swimming pool. Always better to watch than participate - for me at least!
We would all like to visit again but in the summer; perhaps one day we will do just that!

A wonderful escape
Ile de Re is an island geared towards the holidaymaker - it is where you can escape from the world for a short while; and Villa des Ensemberts really is the perfect place in which to do this. This sounds like an advert but it really is true - we had a perfect holiday and the villa was set up to make the most of this. There were six of us (2 adults; 4 children) and we had a huge amount of privacy, not only from the outside world but from each other as well. The facilities suited us very well indeed; everything worked and was well cared for; the beds were very comfortable; the pool was a good size and clean; and we were wonderfully cared for by the people who manage the property on behalf of the owner. Really, no complaints; and 'yes' we would definitely go back.

The villa is just perfect. The location. The pool. The large and comfortable rooms. The garden... just perfect.
Having the bikes available was great too. Though the « round the island » cycle on Thursday morning (some 55 Kms) with my eldest son was a little tiring!
Ile de Ré is an interesting and lively island to visit, but we were always glad to get back to the peace and quiet of 22 Route de Rouine, and finish the day with a family dinner on the patio overlooking the garden and sea.
The weather was kind to us too with hot and sunny days all through till Friday afternoon.
I think everyone would have liked to have stayed for another week.

A quick note to thank you for this year’s rental. We had a very good stay and found the the house in an excellent state throughout with all we needed. The pool worked very well and was beautifully warm for the little ones: they really enjoyed it! We were very fortunate with the weather with only one half day of rain – otherwise really sunny but not too hot. The only pity for us was that our youngest daughter didn’t make it as her job involves the Olympics and, in the event, just couldn’t get the time off.

we are on the ferry back to England, at the end of our holiday. It seems like a long time since we left your lovely villa, but I just wanted to say that we had a very enjoyable stay.
We thought the villa was very attractive, and we appreciated how well equipped it was as well as being clean, comfortable and having so many thoughtful and charming touches. Many rental properties lock away rooms or valuables, so that guests feel as though they are imposing on the host. At your villa, we felt very welcome.

A wonderful holiday
We stayed at Villa Les Ensemberts for 1 week at the end of August and it was wonderful! We were 2 families (4 adults, 4 children) and there was enough space for all the kids to have their own room, so we were very comfortable. The pool is beautiful and very clean, and the veiw is absolutely stunning. All in all, this is just a lovely place to spend a week of hard-earned holidays! It is so peaceful and quiet, with the only sound being the waves at the bottom of the garden. The island of Ile de Re is fantastic too. There is tons to do, especially for kids. We hired bikes and pretty much cycled everywhere. And the markets are AMAZING! We ate so well all week! We would definitely recommend a holiday at this villa, it is beautiful.

Problem with giving this property a good review is that others may will want to stay there too. A villa that is a pleasure to take a holiday in because what is described is what is there and it all works. If you want a truly peaceful break this is ideal, this was our third holiday in the villa.

Delightful setting. A well furnished, thoroughly clean house in a quiet setting on this busy island that suited our family holiday excellently - 3 couples + 1 20 something and 2 toddlers. Excellent heated pool with reasonably safe cover (for toddlers) Access to beach from garden possible but steepness and erosion meant we used beaches a bit further along. We would certainly recommend and use again ourselves.

The villa is in a suberb location in a very quiet area on the island; the accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, with an excellent pool and great views onto the beach. It is worth noting that the beach is not really suitable for swimming etc, being very rocky; also two of the bedrooms are accessed from outside, across the patio from the master bedroom. The villa was very clean, we paid extra for mid-week cleaning and extra towels, which was worth doing. The ile de Re is beautiful, with great beaches and plenty of safe cycle tracks. The villa is located on the edge of Le Noue, which has a great boulangerie, delicatessan and market selling very good produce, and has a couple of decent restaurants/cafes.

My apologies in not getting back quicker. I wanted to let you know that we had an absolutely spectacular time. Ile de Re is a very special place and we hope to come back often. Very much reminded me of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, but with the bonus of fresh oysters, wine, and fleur du sel! And you simply cant beat St Martin and La Flotte for great dinners!!!! Any way, we do plan to return (if you will have us)! The kids loved your home as did we. The pool was perfect. The beach delightful.
